Member Appeal

A person who tries to increase his or her value by promoting membership in a particular organization is a person of less value than the average of that organization

I think I wrote this in the past, but I couldn't find the right one right away, so I wrote it.

Median" or "mean"?

I think this "average" is correct.

Even in cases where there's one amazing person and the rest are all lined up, they'll say something like, "We're in the same organization as that Mr. X."
